I know i once had written a journal about art unis in UK but i still need some help from people who know something more of this subject.
i decided to move to UK next year if i get accepted but still i'm not sure about which school to apply to.
anyway i limited a list of schools that interest me to some UAL ones.
my most important question is #1 but if you know something of the rest [or if you know anyone who applied or got there] feel free to tell me anything you know:
#1> which of the 6 colleges of UAL [university of arts london] is the best for studying photography?
>> i was mostly interested in London College of Fashion but recently heard some weird things about it [like fashion photography sucks there etc], Saint Martins [but i think they have just sth like general photography/media arts' studies] and London College of Communication because they also have Honours photography degree. BUT when i finally got into some UAL forum it seemed like people from these unis were giving totally different information about each of these schools and still competing witch each other. which made me distrustful about these rumors as i'm not sure wchich of the things i've heard are closest to truth!
#2> is it true that if you apply to more than 1 of these
colleges, you need to first choose your preferred college to get in and if some schools are not on the 1st place you're least likely to be accepted there? ;/
#3 > is 1 year of photo studies in Poland an equivalent of foundation course ?
#4 > what is the best form for the photographic portfolio?thanks for any info.
it's kind of urgent because before the end of March'08 i will need to send somewhere my papers.
